Gas & Electricity bills
Have you switched your utility contracts in the last year or two? If the answer is "No" you are probably paying £000's too much for your energy.
What can you do about it? Well, you can compare gas and electricity prices online by using one of the comparison sites. Before you do that, you need to know how much gas and electricity you are using. The best way to compare is to have a years worth of usage figures to hand. These can be from your recent bills or you might get them from your account on your current suppliers website.
To carry out an online comparison you should work out your usage in KWh (kilowatt hours). Electricity meters measure usage in KWh but gas meters measure in cubim meters or cubic feet. To help you work out your energy figures you can use our Gas & Electrcity Usage Calculator. It is available in the following formats.
