Would you like to help us in our quest to bring Basic Digital Skills to people in our community who need them the most? Learning Digital is a new social enterprise and we are just starting out on our journey, so we could do with a little help from our friends.
Here are a few of the ways you could help us to help our community:
Are you looking to get more involved with your local community?
Do you enjoy working with people?
Are you looking to gain some experience?
We run weekly a computer help group for adults in the Bexley area and are looking for Volunteers to get involved for a couple of hours a week.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to get involved with a local organisation and gain valuable experience in providing IT support to adults. You will be in a supportive and encouraging environment in which to grow your Digital Champion skills and knowledge.
We will also introduce you to training courses as they are made available to us from our partners.
You need to be reliable, enthusiastic, a good communicator, have lots of patience and understanding and be confident using computers and the internet. Apart from that no special skills are required.
